FC Barcelona is more than a football club and this is evidenced by the amount of fans. It is one of the largest and most visited in the world.

Tourists who are in town to visit often choose this as their destination for a day. It’s a landmark, especially for football fans. The visit includes a tour of the facilities, the presidential box, lawn, playground, press room, locker rooms …and even the museum.

The museum is on the first floor and has been refurbished to offer all kinds of interactive explanations with great visuals. Its rooms will fill you in with the club’s history since its beginnings in 1899 by Hans Gamper to the present.

The photographs show the most emblematic players and their football shirts. The trophy room is the most talked about, in it we can see the four European Cups won by the club, other trophies won in their league and other national and international tournaments.

There is also a model representation of the stadium, that was presented originally and changed later on. After the visit to the pitch, the shop of FC Barcelona is the perfect place to buy a T-shirt, scarf or hat with the team crest.

Soon the team will train to compete for the Joan Gamper Trophy in August.

When making your reservation for accommodation in the city, it is always preferable to choose the centre. Thus, from Caledonian Hotel in the centre, you can get by Metro to Les Corts Catalunya (Green Line) to the stadium.
